We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request and initiate a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@shoptherefinerie.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. All items must be returned within 5 days of notification of approved return. Items received or post-marked after the 5 day window will no longer be eligible for refund, but exchanges or store credit ( in gift card code form) can be allowed.

We do not currently offer refunds if your item was a gift.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. Often, there is a processing time before a refund is posted to account.

Exchanges (if applicable)
If you would like to exchange your item, please choose the option during the returns process. Once the item(s) is received,  your alternate item will be shipped to you. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Return Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, domestic or internationally. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. All international returns/ exchanges shipping is paid by customer. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping Charges

If the return was due to our error (for instance, we accidentally sent the wrong product), we will accept full responsibility for all shipping costs related to the return and provide a USPS paid shipping label via email for order within the United States. For return requests of orders made outside the US we will issue a store credit equivalent to the amount of your shipping fees.
